Article Template for Article Distribution Groups
When you distribute articles via an email distribution group (e.g. a Yahoo Group), you generally have to:
- have the article title as the email's subject line (and have nothing else in the subject)
- constrain each line to a certain number of characters (here's a handy tool for formatting to a pre-defined character limit
- include a Reprint Conditions blurb at the start
- include article summary info at the top of the article
- clearly delineate between sections
- include your article title and author name in the body of the article
- include your author bio at the end of the article
While you should always check the specific requirements of each article distribution list, the following template will be suitable for most.
